The Honourable James K. Bartleman and the Hamilton, National Capital Region and Toronto Regional Groups of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) are pleased to announce that Sandra Lang is the 2005 recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal of Distinction in Public Administration.
She is recognized for 27 years of remarkable contributions In the Ontario Public Service, including 9 years as Deputy Minister of 5 different ministries, serving Cabinet Ministers of all three main political parties. As Deputy Minister she provided leadership and a commitment to advancing values based public administration. She engineered public administrative achievements in the Ministries of Community and Social Services, Health, Consumer and Commercial Relations, Consumer and Business Services, and Children and Youth Services.
